Rescue an older site
A site that already runs Divi 5 but carries years of sediment. Rescue finds it and hands you an ordered plan.
What it finds
Divi 4 shortcode pages and classic-editor content. Headers and footers hardcoded outside the Theme Builder. Shortcodes from plugins that were deleted long ago — which render as literal bracket text to your visitors. Modules no installed plugin provides. Raw script and style pasted into classic content.
How it works
One deterministic scan classifies up to 300 pages, then returns an ordered fix plan — the work list, in the order it should be done. The plan covers the whole job; the page lists it hands you come 40 at a time, and it says how many it left out. Claude then works through them page by page using the ordinary write tools, keeping one step back from every write: a WordPress revision where the site keeps them, a saved copy of the previous content where it does not.
What it won’t do
Rescue is deliberately a report, not a repair. It writes nothing to any page. Every fix it names is a judgement call on somebody’s live site, so the fixing stays explicit and accountable rather than happening in one irreversible pass.
